Demandez à Yahvé la pluie à la saison des ondées tardives. C' est Yahvé qui fait les nuées d' orages. Il leur donnera la pluie d' averse, à chacun, l' herbe dans son champ.

Parce que les téraphim prédisent la fausseté, que les devins voient du mensonge, que les songes ont débité l' illusion, donné de vaines consolations, voilà pourquoi ils sont partis comme des brebis en piteux état, faute de pasteur.

Contre les pasteurs a brûlé ma colère, contre les boucs, je vais sévir. Quand Yahvé Sabaot visitera son troupeau, la maison de Juda, il en fera comme son cheval d' honneur dans le combat.

And they shall be as mighty men, which tread down their enemies in the mire of the streets in the battle: and they shall fight, because the Lord is with them, and the riders on horses shall be confounded.

ils seront comme des vaillants qui piétinent la boue des rues dans le combat. Ils combattront, car Yahvé est avec eux, et ceux qui montent des chevaux seront confondus.

And I will strengthen the house of Judah, and I will save the house of Joseph, and I will bring them again to place them; for I have mercy upon them: and they shall be as though I had not cast them off: for I am the Lord their God, and will hear them.

Hampahery ny taranak' i Joda Aho, Ary ny taranak' i Josefa hovonjeko ka hampodiko, Satria mamindra fo aminy Aho, Ka ho toy izay tsy nariako izy; Fa Izaho no Jehovah Andriamaniny ka hihaino azy.

Hohatanjahako ny taranak' i Jodà, ary hovonjeko ny taranak' i Josefa; hanangana azy indray aho, fa mangoraka azy ireo; ary ho toy ny tsy nariako akory izy, fa Iaveh, Andriamaniny aho, ka hihaino azy ireo.

Je rendrai vaillante la maison de Juda et victorieuse la maison de Joseph. Je les ramènerai car ils me font pitié et ils seront comme si je ne les avais pas rejetés, car je suis Yahvé leur Dieu et je les exaucerai.

And they of Ephraim shall be like a mighty man, and their heart shall rejoice as through wine: yea, their children shall see it, and be glad; their heart shall rejoice in the Lord.

Ho toy ny lehilahy mahery Efraima, Ary hifaly toy ny azon' ny divay ny fony; Ny zanany hahita ka ho faly; Hifaly amin' i Jehovah ny fony.

Fa toy ny mpiady mahery, ry zareo Efraima, hifaly toy ny fifaliana amin' ny divay ny fony; hahita izany ireo zanany, ka hiravoravo, ary hientan-kafaliana amin' ny Tompo ny fon' izy ireo!

Éphraïm sera comme un vaillant et leur coeur se réjouira comme sous l' effet du vin; leurs fils regarderont et se réjouiront, leur coeur exultera en Yahvé.

I will hiss for them, and gather them; for I have redeemed them: and they shall increase as they have increased.

Hisiaka hiantso azy Aho ka hanangona azy, Fa efa nanavotra azy Aho; Ka dia mbola hihamaro toy ny efa nihamaroany ihany izy.

Hisiaka eny aoriana azy eny aho, ka hanangona azy fa efa nanavotra azy; dia hihamaro toy ny efa nihamaroany indray izy.

Je vais siffler pour les rassembler car je les ai rachetés : ils seront nombreux comme ils l'étaient.

And I will sow them among the people: and they shall remember me in far countries; and they shall live with their children, and turn again.

Rahefa nafafiko tany amin' ny firenena izy, ka mahatsiaro ahy any an-tany lavitra, dia hiara-belona izy sy ny zanany, ka samy hiverina.

Je les sèmerai parmi les peuples, mais au loin ils se souviendront de moi, ils instruiront leurs fils et ils reviendront.

I will bring them again also out of the land of Egypt, and gather them out of Assyria; and I will bring them into the land of Gilead and Lebanon; and place shall not be found for them.

Dia hampody azy avy any amin' ny tany Egypta Aho sy hanangona azy avy any Asyria; Ary ho any amin' ny tany- Gileada sy Libanona no hitondrako azy, Ka tsy ho omby azy izany

Hampodiko avy any amin' ny tany Ejipta izy ireo, sy hangoniko avy any Asiria, dia hoentiko ho ao amin' ny tany Galaada sy Libàna ka tsy ho omby azy ny tany.

Je les ramènerai de la terre d'Égypte et d' Assur je les rassemblerai; dans la terre de Galaad et du Liban je les ferai entrer et cela ne leur suffira pas.

And he shall pass through the sea with affliction, and shall smite the waves in the sea, and all the deeps of the river shall dry up: and the pride of Assyria shall be brought down, and the sceptre of Egypt shall depart away.

Dia hamaky ny ranomasim-pahoriana izy ka hamely ny onjan-dranomasina, Ho ritra ny rano lalin' i Neily rehetra, Haetry ny avonavon' i Asyria, Ary hiala ny tehina fanapahan' i Egypta.

Hamaky ny ranomasina, ranomasim-pahoriana izy; sy hikapoka ny onjan-dranomasina ao amin' ny rano, dia ho tonga maina avokoa ny halalinan' ny ony. Haetry ny avonavon' i Asiria, ary halana ny tehim-panjakan' i Ejipta.

Ils traverseront la mer d'Égypte et il frappera les flots dans la mer , toutes les profondeurs du Nil seront asséchées, l' orgueil d' Assur sera abattu et enlevé le sceptre de l'Égypte.

And I will strengthen them in the Lord; and they shall walk up and down in his name, saith the Lord.

Dia hampahereziko ao amin' i Jehovah izy, Ka ny anarany no handehanany, hoy Jehovah.

Hampahereziko ao amin' ny Tompo izy ireo, ka handeha amin' ny anarany, - teny marin' ny Tompo.

Je les rendrai vaillants en Yahvé, c' est en son nom qu' ils marcheront, oracle de Yahvé.
