2Tm 2:1

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

Koa ny aminao àry, anaka, dia aoka hihamahery amin' ny fahasoavana ao amin' ny Kristy Jeso hianao;

Toi donc, mon enfant, fortifie-toi dans la grâce du Christ Jésus.

2Tm 2:2

And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

2Tm 2:3

Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ.

Miaraha miaritra ny mafy amiko ianao tahaka ny miaramila tsaran' i Kristy Jesosy.

Miareta ny anjara fijalianao amin' ny maha-miaramila tsaran' ny Kristy Jeso anao.

Prends ta part de souffrances, en bon soldat du Christ Jésus.

2Tm 2:4

No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier.

Ny miaramila manafika dia tsy mba misy maningo-tena amin' ny raharahan' izao fiainana izao. mba hahafaly izay efa nifidy azy ho miaramila.

Dans le métier des armes, personne ne s' encombre des affaires de la vie civile, s' il veut donner satisfaction à qui l' a engagé.

2Tm 2:5

And if a man also strive for masteries, yet is he not crowned, except he strive lawfully.

Ary raha misy manezaka amin' ny filalaovana, dia tsy satrohana satro-boninahitra izy, raha tsy manezaka araka ny lalàna.

izay mifaninana hahazo loka amin' ny kianja filalaovana koa tsy mahazo satro-boninahitra raha tsy niady ara-dalàna;

De même l' athlète ne reçoit la couronne que s' il a lutté selon les règles.

2Tm 2:6

The husbandman that laboureth must be first partaker of the fruits.

Ny mpiasa tany izay misasatra no tokony ho voalohany handray ny vokatra.

C' est au cultivateur, qui travaille dur, que doivent revenir, en premier lieu, les fruits de la récolte.

2Tm 2:7

Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things.

2Tm 2:8

Remember that Jesus Christ of the seed of David was raised from the dead according to my gospel:

Tsarovy Jesosy Kristy Izay natsangana tamin' ny maty, dia Ilay avy tamin' ny taranak' i Davida, araka ny filazantsarako,

Tsarovy fa Jeso-Kristy, ilay avy amin' ny taranak' i Davida, dia nitsangana tamin' ny maty araka ny Evanjely torìko,

Souviens-toi de Jésus Christ, ressuscité d' entre les morts, issu de la race de David, selon mon Évangile.

2Tm 2:9

Wherein I suffer trouble, as an evil doer, even unto bonds; but the word of God is not bound.

Pour lui je souffre jusqu'à porter des chaînes comme un malfaiteur. Mais la parole de Dieu n' est pas enchaînée.

2Tm 2:10

Therefore I endure all things for the elect' s sakes, that they may also obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.

Izany no iaretako ny zavatra rehetra noho ny amin' ny olom-boafidy, mba hahazoan' ireny koa famonjena. dia izay ao amin' i Kristy Jesosy. mbamin' ny voninahitra mandrakizay.

Noho izany dia miaritra ny zavatra rehetra aho, noho ny amin' ny olom-pinidy, mba hahazoan' izy ireo koa ny famonjena izay ao amin' ny Kristy Jeso, mbamin' ny voninahitra mandrakizay.

C' est pourquoi j' endure tout pour les élus, afin qu' eux aussi obtiennent le salut qui est dans le Christ Jésus avec la gloire éternelle.

2Tm 2:11

It is a faithful saying: For if we be dead with him, we shall also live with him:

Mahatoky izao teny izao: Fa raha miara-maty aminy isika, dia hiara-belona aminy koa;

Elle est sûre cette parole : Si nous sommes morts avec lui, avec lui nous vivrons.

If we suffer, we shall also reign with him: if we deny him, he also will deny us:

If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

Tout cela, rappelle-le, attestant devant Dieu qu' il faut éviter les querelles de mots, bonnes seulement à perdre ceux qui les écoutent.

2Tm 2:15

Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Efforce-toi de te présenter à Dieu comme un homme éprouvé, un ouvrier qui n' a pas à rougir, un fidèle dispensateur de la parole de vérité.

2Tm 2:16

But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

Fa halaviro ny fibedibedena foana; fa mbola handroso amin' ny haratsiam-panahy ihany izy ireny,

Halaviro ireny fibedibedena mandoza ireny, fa mbola handroso ny haratsian' ireny mpanao izany,

Quant aux discours creux et impies, évite-les. Leurs auteurs feront toujours plus de progrès dans la voie de l' impiété,

2Tm 2:17

And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;

ary ny teniny dia handany tahaka ny aretina mihady; isan ireny Hymeneo sy Fileto,

Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

2Tm 2:19

Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Kanefa ny fanorenana mafy nataon' Andriamanitra dia miorina tsara sady manana izao tombo-kase izao: "Ny Tompo mahalala ny azy", ary koa: "Aoka ny olona rehetra izay manonona ny anaran' ny Tompo hiala amin' ny ratsy."

Cependant les solides fondations posées par Dieu tiennent bon, marquées du sceau de ces paroles : Le Seigneur connaît les siens, et : Qu' il évite l' iniquité, celui qui prononce le nom du Seigneur.

2Tm 2:20

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and of silver, but also of wood and of earth; and some to honour, and some to dishonour.

Fa ao an-trano lehibe, tsy dia fanaka volamena sy volafotsy ihany no ao, fa fanaka hazo sy tany koa, ny sasany homem-boninahitra, ary ny sasany halam-baraka.

Tsy fanaka volamena sy volafotsy ihany no ao amin' ny trano be soa, fa fanaka hazo sy tany koa, ka ny sasany hajaina, fa ny sasany kosa atao tsinontsinona.

Dans une grande maison, il n' y a pas seulement des vases d' or et d' argent ; il en est aussi de bois et d' argile. Les uns sont réservés aux usages nobles, les autres aux usages vulgaires.

2Tm 2:21

If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master' s use, and prepared unto every good work.

Koa raha misy olona manadio ny tenany ho afaka amin' ireny, dia ho fanaka homem-boninahitra izy, efa nohamasinina ka mahasoa ho an' ny Tompo, voavoatra ho amin' ny asa tsara rehetra.

Koa izay nandio ny tenany ho afaka amin' ireny zavatra ratsy ireny, dia ho fanaka mihaja, voahasina, mahasoa ho an' ny tompony ary voaomana amin' ny asa soa rehetra.

Si donc quelqu' un se préserve des fautes dont je parle, il sera un vase noble, sanctifié, utile au Maître, propre à toute oeuvre bonne.

2Tm 2:22

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

Fa mandosira ny filan' ny tanora fanahy; ary miezaha mitady fahamarinana, finoana, fitiavana, fihavanana amin' izay miantso ny Tompo amin' ny fo madio.

Andosiro ny filàn' ny tanora fanahy; ary mikatsaha fahamarinana, finoana, fitiavana, ary fihavanana amin' izay miantso ny anaran' ny Tompo amin' ny fo madio.

Fuis les passions de la jeunesse. Recherche la justice, la foi, la charité, la paix, en union avec ceux qui d' un coeur pur invoquent le Seigneur.

2Tm 2:23

But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

Fa mandava ny fanontaniana adaladala tsy misy antony, satria fantatrao fa mahatonga ady izany.

Ialao ny ady hevitra adaladala sy tsy misy antony, satria fantatrao ihany fa mahatonga fifandirana ireny.

Mais les folles et stupides recherches, évite-les : tu sais qu' elles engendrent des querelles.

2Tm 2:24

And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

Ary tsy mety raha miady ny mpanompon' ny Tompo, fa ho malemy fanahy amin' ny olona rehetra, mahay mampianatra, mahalefitra,

Fa tsy mety amin' ny mpanompon' Andriamanitra ny miady; fa izy tsy maintsy ho olona malemy fanahy amin' ny olona rehetra, mahay mampianatra, mahay mandefitra,

Or, le serviteur du Seigneur ne doit pas être querelleur, mais accueillant à tous, capable d' instruire, patient dans l'épreuve ;

2Tm 2:25

In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

c' est avec douceur qu' il doit reprendre les opposants, en songeant que Dieu, peut-être, leur donnera de se convertir, de connaître la vérité

2Tm 2:26

And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.
