Les prêtres entrèrent dans le Temple de Yahvé pour le purifier. Ils emportèrent sur le parvis du Temple de Yahvé toutes les choses impures qu' ils trouvèrent dans le sanctuaire de Yahvé, et les lévites en firent des tas qu' ils allèrent déposer à l' extérieur, dans la vallée du Cédron.
